爆笑問題日曜サンデーのカラオケランキングはSimon&Garfunkel. 3位がコンドルは飛んでいくだった。田中が歌詞をネタにしてくれたので歌詞を調べてみた。当時の訳者は1行目を最初を以下のように訳したらしい。

かたつむりになって食われるくらいなら雀の方がいい。どうせならその方がいい。

  • ペルー民謡で元題はEl Condor Pasaらしい。エルコンドルパサって馬がいたはず。
  • 南米つながり。会社でよく使うホスト名でスペイン語っぽいのがあると思っていた。最近になってそれが南米の有名な作家かと思うようになった。昨日ググって確かめた。
